FRAME - textile facades

Cladding a building with individual panels has its own charm. With textile frames it is easier, larger and cheaper than with all alternative materials.

Planning &
Design

The planning and design of FRAME-TEXTILE FACADE requires a high level of know-how and experience. Both aesthetic and technical requirements must be taken into account. The design must ensure high stability and durability while at the same time achieving an attractive appearance. In addition to the structural design aspects, factors such as weather resistance, fire protection and energy must also be taken into account in the planning. With our expertise and many years of experience in the field of FRAME textile facades, we are your specialised system partner from planning to production and on-site installation.

New buildings

In new buildings, more and more architects are opting for a combination of FRAME-TEXTILE FACADES as lightweight aluminum fabric systems.
These allow almost limitless design freedom and enable maximum flexibility when it comes to achieving opening proportions. If the individual frames are arranged offset to each other, they give the facade an interesting cubature and also offer protection from the weather.
The aluminum systems guarantee high stability and durability with low weight. The combination of aesthetics and functionality is of great importance in the implementation of FRAME-TEXTILE FACADE.

Fire behaviour

When using FRAME-TEXTILE FACADES, it is important to ensure that the design is flawless in terms of fire protection. Therefore, the materials and coatings used should be non-combustible or flame-retardant and comply with the applicable fire protection regulations. Professional planning and assembly of the facade as well as regular maintenance and checks are also important aspects.

FAQ
Do you have questions?
typico_gleich
A textile facade, sometimes also called a membrane facade, is a classic curtain facade that is stretched in front of the actual building structure. Unlike other building materials, window surfaces can also be spanned, as it is possible to see through the fabric from the inside to the outside.
typico_gleich
A textile facade also significantly shades the building and thus offers significant energy advantages. The fabrics used for the construction of a textile facade are made either from high-strength polyester fabrics with PVC coating or from glass fabrics with Teflon coating.
typico_gleich
As for other types of facades, this estimate depends on many environmental factors. On average, based on the projects already realized, we can assume an average durability of between 35 and 40 years for unprinted textile facades.
typico_gleich
Typico textile facades are essentially made only with polyester/PVC fabrics, which are made from recycled raw materials. The polyester yarns are obtained from used PET bottles and at the end of the façade's life all raw materials can be separated into their components for further use.
